Want to sharpen your leadership skills? Deepen your walk with Christ? Study theology and learn more about your Bible? Know what it means to truly serve others?  Grow with your fellow students? Well, then SALT might be for you! DBSM is opening SALT for any middle schooler this upcoming Spring 2018. Our desire for SALT (Servant and Leadership Training) is that the program would equip Christian students to use the gifts they’ve been given to make an impact in the world for Christ. The commitment we’re asking you to make for SALT isn’t small. We’re going to ask that you give up your time, we’re going to push you farther then some of you have ever been pushed, and we’re going to challenge you to constantly die to yourself and follow Jesus. To that end, if you join SALT we are going to ask you to commit to doing the following over the next 4 months:

  1. Attend the meetings (Jan. 27, Feb. 17, Apr. 7, & May 5).
  2. Spend time with Jesus throughout the week.
  3. Memorize a passage of Scripture (we’ll assign it) between each meeting.
  4. Complete your personal service project between each meeting.
  5. Meet once with your DIG’s (Discipleship In Groups) between each meeting.
